Shops of London

HOME DECOR
LONDON, ENGLAND

With all of the London coverage over the past couple of weeks it prompted me to re-visit some of my photographs from my trip to England. I fell in love with a lot of the furniture and accessories I saw while shopping there.

Below I will share with you some of my favs.
Let us know what you think. Enjoy!

Storage is always a big issue in London. Check out these handmade trunks I found!
This Marie Galante makeup trunk design opens up to show off tons of storage compartments! Brilliant!
Look at this sophisticated leather bound trunk! If you were to use this as a desk instead of as a makeup area you could put magnetic or cork board in lieu of the mirror.
Even the chair doesn't waste any space :)
I love that they finished the piece by upholstering the feet of this comfy couch with the fun bright print!
A lot of their kitchen showrooms were showing off these types of doors with the punched out finger holes in lieu of hardware.
I love anything shiny, so this hand-crafted Kaveri chest with white-metal-leafing obviously caught my eye!
Isn't this an unexpected pairing of these chairs and table? I think the fact that the chairs are my favourite colour helped get them featured on our blog :)
Excuse me, do you have the time? I especially like the colourful numbered clock on the right. Although, I would have situated the numbers in random order instead :)
No matter where I go, I'm always drawn to unique lighting pieces.
Obviously the glitzy one on the right was my fav. but with the right decor, the black lamp could really add some drama to a room! Don't you agree?
This light piece was like artwork! The picture just doesn't do it justice.
Another eclectic pairing of modern chairs with a more traditional white-metal-leafed dining table. Jury is out over here over how much we like this combo but we all know the table wins my vote!
Red Light/Green Light! I liked this piece too, but again, maybe I am biased because of the colour :) What do you think?
You will have to look really closely at the top shelf and try to ignore the background but they are really cool vases! An oversized wine glass, a margarita glass...
Wouldn't this be a great wine rack for a modern wetbar? Loved it!
What do you think about these designs? We would love for you to share your thoughts with us on Facebook!
